Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Nephrology to join our healthcare team. Your role will involve providing specialized nursing care to patients with kidney conditions, including chronic kidney disease and dialysis treatment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about patient education and care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients.
  • Supervise and support junior nursing staff and medical assistants.
  • Coordinate with dietitians and social workers to enhance patient care.
  • Document all nursing interventions and patient interactions accurately.
  • Participate in research and quality initiatives within the nephrology department.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Manage patient schedules and coordinate appointments effectively.
  • Participate in training and mentoring of new nurses.
  • Ensure the availability of medical supplies and equipment for treatment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience
  • 2+ years working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in nephrology.
