Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator and Tender, you will be responsible for operating industrial ovens to refine metals in our production facility. Your role will involve monitoring oven temperature and pressure, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Handle the operation of high-temperature industrial furnaces safely and efficiently.
• Regularly monitor the melting and refining processes and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve oven performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to metal refining processes.
• Document machine performance and product quality during shifts.
• Participate in safety training and drills to uphold workplace safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certifications or training related to oven operation preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food processing or metal refining industry.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Safety regulations knowledge

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
