Job Description

As a Bench Carpenter at Craft Woodworks Inc., you will be responsible for the crafting and assembly of custom wooden furniture. The ideal candidate will exhibit a keen eye for detail and possess strong woodworking skills, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Craft custom woodwork by following detailed plans and specifications.
• Ensure that each piece is constructed with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with designers to implement creative concepts into tangible products.
• Oversee the maintenance of tools and equipment used in the workshop.
• Adapt to project changes and ensure flexibility in workmanship.
• Document project progress and communicate with supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in carpentry is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in woodcraft and furniture making

Technical Skills

• Experience with CNC machinery
• Finishing techniques

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• First Aid certification
• Woodworking safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Upholstery experience: Capability to manage upholstery and finishing techniques.
