Job Description

As a Coroner, you will play a crucial role in the investigation of deaths. You will collect and analyze evidence related to criminal cases, conduct tests, and prepare detailed reports to assist law enforcement agencies. Your expertise will be vital during court proceedings where you will provide expert testimony.

Responsibilities

• Analyze post-mortem samples and evidence.
• Conduct autopsies to determine cause of death.
• Collaborate with medical examiners and law enforcement.
• Provide written and verbal reports on findings for investigations.
• Attend court to present findings and provide expert testimony.
• Stay updated with advancements in forensic science.
• Participate in case review meetings and discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or relevant field

Experience

• Experience testifying in court proceedings is a plus
