Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are currently looking for skilled Construction Laborers to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, be physically fit, and capable of performing tasks such as site preparation, operating machinery, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites by setting up safety barriers and signage as required.
• Assist with digging trenches, pouring concrete, and erecting structures.
• Transport tools and materials to appropriate locations and assist in storing them safely.
• Maintain machinery and tools in good working condition.
• Ensure all work is carried out to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project efficiency.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and follow all safety protocols.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge of construction techniques and safety.
• Contribute to team discussions on project improvements.
• Support quality checks on materials and workmanship.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the construction industry

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Scaffolding Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous Experience in Road Construction: Experience in road or highway construction is a plus.
