As a Merchandise Buyer, you will be at the forefront of our purchasing strategies, focusing on sourcing outdoor gear and apparel. Your expertise in market trends and supplier negotiations will be essential in optimizing our inventory and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends to anticipate customer needs and ensure optimal product availability.
• Evaluate supplier performance and product quality to ensure standards are met.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to manage the flow of goods from suppliers.
• Develop strategies for clearance of obsolete inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members to foster collaboration and alignment.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to network with suppliers and customers.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Business or a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in retail buying or merchandising
