Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our team. In this role, you will handle various tax-related tasks such as preparing tax returns, conducting research to ensure compliance with tax laws, and assisting clients with tax planning strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and is eager to learn about the taxation field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize liabilities
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and credits
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Provide support for audits and tax inquiries from taxing authorities

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in tax consulting or public accounting

Certifications

• Enrolled Agent (EA) certification mandatory

Languages
