Job Description

As a Dietitian Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dietitians in delivering nutritional care to our patients. You will assist with dietary assessments, meal planning, and patient education on nutrition, ensuring individualized care that meets each patient's unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct dietary reviews and provide recommendations under the guidance of a dietitian.
  • Assist patients in understanding their dietary prescriptions and managing their health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to integrate nutrition into patient care plans.
  • Provide support for group nutrition education sessions when required.
  • Conduct research on dietary trends and evidence-based practices to strengthen meal planning.
  • Document and maintain all patient health records and meal plans in compliance with regulations.
  • Engage in nutrition outreach programs to promote healthy eating in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered Dietitian Assistant (RDA) certification preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
