Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of waste materials efficiently and safely.
• Create and implement recycling programs across the community.
• Maintain cleanliness in waste storage areas and monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
• Monitor waste management practices to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Operate and maintain waste management equipment including compactors and recycling machinery.
• Educate the public on proper waste disposal practices and recycling initiatives.
• Prepare reports on waste collection and recycling metrics.
• Assist in training new staff on safety and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with local government and environmental organizations to promote sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in waste management or a related field.
