Job Description

The Mold Runner will play a crucial role in the mold production process. This position entails preparing, operating, and maintaining molds while actively troubleshooting any production issues. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes and setups according to production schedules.
• Review production reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions regularly.
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure product standards.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and installations as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or mold maintenance environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with mold maintenance
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes
• Ability to operate hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Supervisory experience in production settings: Experience in leading teams to achieve production goals.
• Good physical stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
