Job Description

As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of payroll processing and benefits administration. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing essential support to employees regarding their benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll and manage employee benefits with precision and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Work closely with HR to resolve payroll and benefits-related issues.
  • Prepare reporting for management review and ensure accuracy.
  • Administer all aspects of employee benefit programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits promptly.
  • Conduct regular audits on payroll and benefits processes.
  • Collaborate with IT to improve payroll systems efficiency.
  • Train HR team members on benefits administration.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Accounting
  • Certification in Payroll Administration is a plus
Experience
  • Three years or more in payroll and benefits administration
