Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will play a key role in the ceramics manufacturing process. Operating and monitoring various kilns and furnaces ensures the production of high-quality ceramic products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and knowledgeable in kiln operations to maintain consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure kiln and furnace operations are running smoothly during production.
  • Collect and analyze data on production efficiency and product quality.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Respond quickly to any operational incidents or emergencies.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to meet production targets.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of raw materials for production.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience with multiple kiln types is advantageous.
