Job Description

As an Oil Movements Operator, you will oversee the loading and unloading of oil products across multiple transport modes, including tank cars, trucks, and ships. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring adherence to safety protocols, accurately measuring and sampling products, and collaborating with team members to optimize processes. This is a dynamic and crucial role within our operations team, where attention to detail and compliance with regulations is key.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all operations comply with environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding operational changes.
• Document movements, measurements, and reports accurately.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any discrepancies in oil quantities.
• Prepare for safety drills and emergency response scenarios.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in oil terminal operations

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SCADA systems
• Understanding of safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Certifications

• API 510 Certification
• H2S Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in oil and gas: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements governing oil transport.
• Experience with inventory management systems: Familiarity with software tools used to track oil inventory effectively.
