Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker Technician, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining various tools used in metalworking. The ideal candidate has experience operating machine tools and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate various types of tools and dies used in the production process.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and machines to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool performance.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
• Adhere to quality control standards during the fabrication process.
• Document all work processes for compliance and quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machining or related field is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in tool making or related manufacturing experience

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with various machine tools
• Understanding of quality control principles

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages
