Laboratory Assistant

Job Description

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our research team. Your responsibilities will include preparing experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and analyzing data. Ideal candidates will have an educational background in a scientific field and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the development of experimental setups.
• Maintain detailed logs of laboratory activities and results.
• Coordinate with suppliers for laboratory materials and instruments.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve laboratory equipment issues.
• Document and report any discrepancies or issues in lab procedures.
• Support environmental monitoring and risk assessments.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects and research initiatives.
• Facilitate communication within the research team.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field is preferred.

Experience

• Previous lab experience or internships are highly desirable.
