Job Description

The Laboratory Manager will lead the laboratory operations, ensuring that everything runs seamlessly and meets regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and experience in laboratory management, overseeing both personnel and processes. This role is crucial for maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency within the lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory staff and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
• Develop and implement best practices for laboratory management
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities
• Evaluate laboratory processes for efficiency improvements
• Coordinate with external regulatory bodies during inspections
• Train and mentor staff on laboratory protocols and safety measures
• Manage procurement and inventory of laboratory supplies
• Conduct regular safety audits and compliance checks

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies: Understanding of process improvement methodologies will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with regulatory agencies and compliance standards: Experience with FDA or other relevant agencies is an advantage.
