Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Music Historian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of musical eras, genres, composers, and significant historical events in the world of music. As a Music Historian, you will conduct research, analyze musical developments, and contribute to the preservation and promotion of musical heritage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive research proposals and initiatives.

  • Foster partnerships with educational institutions for collaborative projects.
  • Provide expert consultation on music-related exhibitions.
  • Support grant writing efforts for research and programming.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music History, Musicology, or a related field
  • Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred
