Job Description

As a Licensed Midwife (LM), you will play a pivotal role in offering comprehensive care to expectant mothers. Your responsibilities will encompass prenatal visits, labor support, and postpartum care, ensuring that both mothers and newborns thrive through their journey. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver individualized care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise prenatal visits to monitor maternal and fetal health.
  • Manage labor and assist in delivery, coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct postpartum check-ins to support mothers in recovery.
  • Advocate for patient rights and preferences in birthing decisions.
  • Provide lactation consulting and support.
  • Educate families on postpartum mental health and wellness.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Midwifery or a related field
Experience
  • Experience in a variety of birth settings, including hospitals and birthing centers.
