Job Description

As an Emotional Disabilities Teacher, you'll create and implement specialized programs to support students facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Your mission is to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment that fosters personal growth and academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to involve them in the educational process.
  • Organize and lead educational workshops for parents on supporting emotional disabilities.
  • Engage in ongoing learning about emotional disabilities and effective teaching practices.
  • Develop relationships with students to foster trust and encourage participation.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate resources for students' emotional and academic needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience working with a wide range of disabilities is advantageous.
