Job Description

We are in search of a motivated Paper Goods Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender. The ideal candidate will be in charge of operating and maintaining shell machines used to produce a wide variety of paper goods. The role demands attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines for production runs.
• Monitor machine operations and intervene when operational issues arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document operational procedures and updates.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product standards.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production challenges and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machine operation preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in machine operation or a similar field

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with industrial machinery
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to perform minor machine repairs: Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and fixing machines.
• Previous experience in manufacturing: Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
