Job Description

The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients entering our facility. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for all patients and guests.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Process insurance claims and validate patient eligibility.
  • Support clinical staff with administrative inquiries as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  • Provide assistance to patients regarding their insurance coverage.
  • Handle additional office tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Training in medical terminology and office procedures is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a front desk receptionist in healthcare
