Foot Roentgenologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Foot Roentgenologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and interpreting X-ray images of patients' feet to diagnose various foot conditions and injuries. You will work closely with orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of X-ray images to establish diagnosis of foot conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the imaging department.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging technology and techniques.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives to ensure accuracy in radiological interpretations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting focused on foot imaging

Technical Skills

• Foot Anatomy Knowledge

Certifications

• State Radiologic License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Podiatry or Orthopedic Settings: Previous experience working alongside podiatrists or orthopedic surgeons is a plus.
• Knowledge of MRI and CT Scanning: Familiarity with MRI and CT imaging techniques would be advantageous.
