Job Description

As a Prepress Technician, your primary responsibility will be to operate phototypesetting equipment efficiently, ensuring high-quality production for various printed products. You will collaborate closely with our design team to maintain our high standards and meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure raw materials accurately for mixing.
• Document mixing processes and formulas for future reference.
• Conduct quality checks on mixed products to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production output.
• Assist in the training of new staff on best practices for mixing.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production objectives.
• Follow guidelines for handling hazardous materials safely.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized, following best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent with a focus in ceramics or materials science preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in ceramic mixing or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Experience with ceramic mixing equipment

Soft Skills

• Good time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific ceramic materials or products: Experience in mixing various types of clays and glazes.
• Experience with mixing large quantities of materials: Ability to manage and mix large batch sizes effectively.
