Job Description

As a Credit Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining the credit policies of our financial institution. Your expertise will support the sales team in conducting credit analysis and assessments while overseeing credit applications to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of credit applications.
• Work with sales teams to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
• Develop tools for effective credit analysis and monitoring.
• Report insights and recommendations to management on credit risks.
• Ensure that all credit actions adhere to policies and legal requirements.
• Support the team in managing credit-related disputes and resolutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and train them on credit processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Additional finance or accounting certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in credit analysis or related finance roles.
