Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor in the agricultural sector, you'll play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations on the farm. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that all activities, from crop planting to harvesting, run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will be key in maximizing productivity and adhering to safety standards while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops.
  • Train and mentor new staff on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of farm conditions and equipment.
  • Liaise with management to develop long-term farming strategies.
  • Prepare reports on farm productivity and expenses for management review.
  • Implement sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with local agricultural agencies for regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve any onsite disputes among farm workers promptly and fairly.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Agriculture or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in agriculture
