Job Description

The Residential Mortgage Manager will lead the mortgage department of our agency, overseeing the processing of mortgage applications while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Your task will be to enhance processing efficiency while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the mortgage application workflow to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize service delivery.
  • Create and sustain a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness.
  • Implement training programs for staff on mortgage regulations and compliance.
  • Lead departmental meetings to address goals, strategies, and team development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
  • Professional certification in mortgage lending or management is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in management
