Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced First-Line Supervisor to oversee mechanics, installers, and repairers in our dynamic department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of mechanical processes, and the ability to manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily activities of mechanics and repair teams to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions regularly.
  • Review work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication.
  • Address and resolve employee conflicts and performance issues.
  • Drive process improvements through analysis of service metrics.
  • Prepare and submit reports on team performance and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Manage tools and equipment inventory efficiently.
  • Assist in developing operational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational training in Mechanics or Engineering is preferred
  • Relevant certifications are an asset
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical background with supervisory experience being a plus
