Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Electro-Mechanical and Mechatronics Technologists and Technicians to support our expanding UAV operations. The successful candidate will operate UAVs, collect vital data, and ensure high-quality maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of multiple UAVs in dynamic environments.
• Collect and analyze data to inform project decisions.
• Maintain operational readiness of UAV equipment.
• Educate team members on UAV operation and safety protocols.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects for enhanced workflow.
• Document all UAV missions and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in the training of new technicians and operators.
• Conduct field assessments to improve UAV workflows.
• Ensure compliance with both FAA regulations and company policies.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on UAV performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Technology, or a related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in aviation or a related field

Technical Skills

• UAV Control Software
• Remote Sensing Software
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Professional Certification in Remote Sensing or GIS: Additional credentials in remote sensing technologies or GIS will be advantageous.
• Experience Operating UAVs in Various Environments: Hands-on experience operating UAVs in urban, rural, and coastal areas.
