Break and Load Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Break and Load Operator who will assist in loading and unloading products for transport. You will collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency and uphold safety standards while managing our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently break down incoming freight shipments for loading.
• Inspect and verify the accuracy of received goods against documentation.
• Sort and organize incoming freight for proper storage.
• Load outgoing freight onto trucks and secure for transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading area.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and stock management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred

Technical Skills

• Material Handling
• Basic Math Skills

• Communication Skills
• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional training in logistics or material handling: Preferred additional training or certifications in logistics.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes: Understanding of processes involved in freight shipping and receiving.
