Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Steam Tunnel Feeder to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining steam tunnel machines to ensure efficient processing of garments in the manufacturing industry. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate loading of garments into the steam tunnel for efficient processing.
• Adjust steam levels according to garment type and processing requirements.
• Document machine performance and report any issues to management.
• Maintain a safe work area by adhering to health and safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss operational improvements and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience operating steam tunnel machines or similar equipment preferred.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of garment care processes

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Advantageous

• Additional experience in related production roles: Past roles in industrial laundry or textile processing preferred.
