Job Description

As a Milk Receiver at Dairy Fresh Co., you will play a critical role in the quality control process of our dairy operations. The Milk Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and ensuring that all milk deliveries meet our rigorous quality standards. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all incoming milk for consistency and quality.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
  • Perform maintenance checks on receiving equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Provide feedback on supplier performance related to delivery and quality.
  • Document and report any issues encountered during deliveries.
  • Contribute to developing best practices for milk receiving operations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Facilitate efficient unloading processes to minimize downtime during deliveries.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in dairy processing preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in milk handling or quality assurance is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards
  • Experience with milk receiving equipment

Languages
  • English: Fluent
