Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of string instruments for necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes.
• Utilize woodworking tools for custom fittings and adjustments.
• Document and record all repairs and services performed.
• Attend performances occasionally to provide on-site instrument maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training or certification in instrument repair is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with a variety of string instruments including violas, cellos, and guitars.

Technical Skills

• Varnishing techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
