Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to operate and set up various grinding machines in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and finishing metal components according to specifications while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding, lapping, and polishing machines to achieve required surfaces.
• Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions as necessary.
• Keep detailed records of production and inspection results.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize processes.
• Implement continuous improvement practices in the grinding process.
• Train new employees on machine operations and safety protocols.
• Work closely with quality assurance to address any product defects.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in material handling and movement throughout the facility.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Metalworking or Machining is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Polishing and Buffing Techniques

Certifications

• Forklift Safety Certification

Languages
