Job Description

As a Bench Examiner at ABC Law Firm, you will evaluate the physical and visual characteristics of precious metals and gemstones. This position involves utilizing various testing equipment and analyzing results to ensure authenticity and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Utilize state-of-the-art testing equipment for accurate evaluations.
• Document testing procedures and results meticulously.
• Engage in continuous learning about gemstone properties and metallurgy.
• Report any discrepancies or quality issues immediately to management.
• Contribute to the development of quality control processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry or materials science
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in jewelry evaluation or quality control

Technical Skills

• Quality assurance techniques

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Goldsmith Certification (preferred)
• Six Sigma Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
