Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Atlanta. The chosen candidate will work on a variety of projects, from commercial buildings to residential structures, ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing structures to propose retrofitting solutions.
• Use analysis tools to simulate structural responses to various loads.
• Ensure that all engineering activities align with company procedures.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
• Interface with clients to provide engineering insights and recommendations.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure proper implementation of designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• ETABS
• STAAD.Pro
• Matlab

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of BIM processes: Experience in utilizing BIM tools for enhanced collaboration.
• Experience in construction management: Knowledge of construction processes and site management.
