Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Community Organizer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with community members and organizations to identify needs and mobilize resources for effective community development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engage and mobilize local community members to address pressing social issues.
• Develop and implement strategies for community outreach and engagement.
• Provide resources and support to community members and groups.
• Create partnerships with other organizations to enhance community initiatives.
• Research, analyze and report on community trends and issues.
• Assist in fundraising efforts and grant writing as needed.
• Manage community program budgets effectively.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community leaders.
• Utilize social media platforms to promote community events and initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Experience

• Experience in grant writing and fundraising is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Mandarin: Basic
