Job Description

As a Gunnery/Ordnance Officer, you will coordinate and manage the weapons systems of a military unit, ensuring proper maintenance and training. This role demands leadership skills and a sharp focus on operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of new weapon systems and ensure operational readiness.
• Conduct training simulations for personnel to enhance operational skills.
• Evaluate and upgrade existing weapons systems as needed.
• Implement safety protocols to prevent incidents during training and operations.
• Coordinate with other military branches for joint operational exercises.
• Assist in developing tactical strategies for the effective use of weaponry.
• Regularly assess team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage logistics related to ammunition and weapon systems.
• Conduct after-action reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with civilian authorities on training exercises involving public safety.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced degree in a related field is preferred
