Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Recreation Worker to organize and facilitate a wide range of recreational activities tailored to promote well-being and social interaction among participants. Your passion for wellness will make a difference in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead diverse recreational activities aimed at promoting wellness and inclusivity.
  • Train and mentor volunteers or junior staff involved in recreational programs.
  • Coordinate with advertisers and local businesses for support in hosting events.
  • Promote programs through social media and community outreach.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss participant needs and program adjustments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology or Sociology
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred

Certifications
  • Certified Recreational Therapist (CTRS) is a plus
