Job Description

As a Factory Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing layouts and propose enhancements.
  • Facilitate workshops with production teams to gather layout requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for safety and efficiency.
  • Analyze workflow to minimize movement and optimize space utilization.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
  • Use simulation software to model factory layout changes before implementation.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new layouts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in factory design and layout optimization
