Job Description

As a Lost Charge Card Clerk, you'll be responsible for efficiently managing and resolving issues related to lost or stolen credit cards. Your primary tasks will include handling customer inquiries, investigating fraudulent activities, and processing card replacements, all while delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of lost or stolen charge card claims.
  • Engage with customers to verify claims and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and rectify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Facilitate timely card replacements and updates to customer records.
  • Deliver top-tier customer service and maintain positive relationships.
  • Document and report findings from investigations to management.
  • Train and assist junior staff on processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with fraud prevention specialists to enhance security protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data protection.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in finance or related field preferred
Experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in financial services.
