Preload Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Preload Supervisor to oversee our loading dock operations. In this role, you will manage inventory accuracy, coordinate schedules, and train a dedicated team to ensure our logistics processes run seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of loaders to achieve operational goals.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Facilitate communication between staff and management.
• Manage the workflow to optimize loading and unloading schedules.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance and safety.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in supervisory roles within logistics.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS): Familiarity with WMS can enhance operational efficiency.
