Job Description

We are looking for a talented Film Cutter to join our creative team. In this role, you'll edit film footage to create engaging, high-quality content while ensuring the narrative flow and visual aesthetics meet our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Select and edit raw footage to create compelling films.
• Ensure the final product aligns with the project's creative goals.
• Utilize special effects and transitions effectively.
• Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the editing process.
• Collaborate with sound designers to enhance the audio experience.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest editing software and tools.
• Review and adjust edits based on feedback from directors and producers.
• Manage project timelines to ensure timely completion of edits.
• Assist in creating storyboards to outline the editing process.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional material.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in film editing or post-production

Technical Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro
• Avid Media Composer
• DaVinci Resolve

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in editing documentaries or commercials: Proficiency in handling various film genres while maintaining storytelling integrity.
