Worship Leader

Job Description

Our church is seeking an experienced and talented Worship Leader to lead our congregation in worship on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for music and leading others in worship, as well as strong leadership skills and a heart for ministry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead rehearsals for the worship team.
• Create and manage the worship schedule.
• Engage the congregation through creative worship experiences.
• Recruit, train and develop volunteers for the worship ministry.
• Evaluate and improve the quality of the worship service.
• Work collaboratively with other church departments.
• Utilize technology and social media in worship planning.
• Maintain equipment and ensure instruments are in good working order.

Requirements

Education

• Equivalent experience in worship leadership may be considered

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in leading diverse congregations

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with worship planning software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to foster community engagement

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience leading a diverse congregation in worship: Ability to connect and engage with people from different backgrounds.
