Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced River Guide to join our team. As a River Guide, you will be responsible for leading and guiding individuals or groups on various river expeditions, ensuring their safety and providing an exceptional outdoor experience.

Responsibilities

  • Guide groups on diverse river expeditions, focusing on safety and enjoyment.
  • Educate participants on river ecology, safety practices, and paddling skills.
  • Manage equipment inspections and maintenance before outings.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and unexpected situations.
  • Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all adventurers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Keep abreast of weather patterns and river conditions.
  • Maintain clear communication with participants throughout trips.
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to trip planning and participant feedback.
  • Gather and provide feedback for continuous improvement of expedition practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a River Guide preferred

Languages
