Radiator Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiator Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining radiators in various vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of radiator systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing radiator issues through inspection and testing.
• Implementing effective repair strategies to enhance radiator efficiency.
• Staying informed on the latest automotive repair technologies.
• Coordinating with parts suppliers to ensure timely availability of components.
• Guiding junior technicians and providing training on best practices.
• Maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization.
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss goals and performance.
• Documenting all work performed and parts used in repair logs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of specialized training in automotive cooling systems is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in radiator maintenance and repairs

Technical Skills

• Pressure testing
• Electric soldering

Soft Skills

• Customer service
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ASE Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional certifications in automotive repair: Possess further qualifications in specialized automotive services.
• Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models: Familiarity with multiple car brands and their radiator systems.
