Job Description

As a Retail Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in minimizing theft, fraud, and other security risks to protect our organization's assets, employees, and customers. This position requires keen observational skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic inspections of store facilities for safety compliance.
• Engage with customers and staff to create a welcoming environment.
• Take immediate action in response to emergencies or incidents.
• Identify training needs and conduct sessions for staff.
• Actively participate in loss prevention meetings and strategy sessions.
• Review and update security procedures as necessary.
• Assist in the investigation of theft and fraud cases.
• Implement security awareness programs among staff.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of loss prevention measures regularly.
• Support management in achieving departmental goals and targets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a security or retail environment preferred.

Certifications

• Certified Loss Prevention Specialist (CLPS) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
