Chemical Technician - Rubber Compounder Formulator

Job Description

As a Chemical Technician specializing in rubber compounding, you will play an essential role in formulating rubber compounds used in diverse manufacturing processes. You will work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians to ensure the quality and efficiency of our products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products.
• Document all formulation processes and maintain meticulous records in line with safety and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for compounding processes.
• Implement best practices for waste reduction and process optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Master's degree in relevant fields is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in rubber compounding or formulation

Technical Skills

• Statistical Analysis Software (Minitab)
• Quality Control Processes

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
