Job Description

As a Scalehouse Attendant, you will play a crucial role in our operations by accurately weighing vehicles entering and exiting our facility, collecting appropriate fees, and providing excellent customer service. You will ensure compliance with safety protocols, maintain detailed records, and assist customers with their inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Weigh and record the weights of vehicles at entry and exit points.
  • Process transactions and handle cash and card payments.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records for reporting and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and information to customers regarding waste disposal regulations.
  • Perform regular checks on weighing equipment to ensure accurate readings.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for scale operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide assistance with any issues.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies in weight measurements.
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to improving operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in scale operations or waste management is a plus.
