Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Residence Counselor to support residents in achieving their personal and professional goals. You will provide guidance, emotional support, and supervision in a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Your role will be pivotal in helping residents integrate into the community and thrive in their personal journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Guide residents in personal goal setting and achievement.
  • Create a safe environment that fosters trust and respect.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with residents and their families.
  • Support residents in developing life skills and independence.
  • Engage in regular meetings with the counseling team to discuss resident progress.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to enhance resident integration.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding resident care.
  • Document incidents and report them to the management as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals in a similar capacity
