Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Cutting and Slicing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic production team. The role involves operating precision cutting tools and equipment to produce high-quality materials. Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust cutting machines according to specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials processed and production output.
  • Support production and assembly lines as needed.
  • Work with quality assurance teams to enforce quality control measures.
  • Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Report to supervisors about material and equipment needs.
  • Follow instructions from manufacturing supervisors and managers.
  • Keep materials organized and accessible in the work area.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in manufacturing or machining
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of CNC machines and programming
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols
Soft Skills
  • Teamwork
  • Time management
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Ability to operate various power and hand tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as drills and grinders.
  • Previous experience in woodworking or metalworking environments: Experience in settings that require similar skills and tools.
